Cinema, composed by Renzo Ruggieri, is a song, or rather a medley of 5 songs (all used individually with its own title), written specifically for electronic instruments. Each composition, as the title suggests, evokes a different film genre. In the first part, the electronic keyboard arrangement (1st and 2nd staff) or by electronic accordion (1st and 3rd staff). In the second, the song is arranged for the ensemble 4 electronic instruments and drums (including electronic or sequentially). The infinite possibilities of the current electronic generators are particularly suited to the realization of soundtracks and as such works also comes with educational purposes as well as the concert. It has attained high recognition in his first three outings in national competitions (Pesaro 1995, Ascoli Piceno 1995, 1998) and has always gotten the first prize.
Renzo Ruggieri has performed all over the world to great acclaim. He specialized in jazz piano under Franco D’Andrea and since, has recorded numerous CD’s as both leader and session player. Much of his music been published and he has written teaching methods for important publishing houses. He is the leading exponent of Italian Jazz in formations that range from a DUO to the RENZO RUGGIERI ORCHESTRA.
