Acquarelli Italiani composed by Renzo Ruggieri (2003) for accordion and symphony orchestra, later adapted for solo accordion. It is a tribute to “Aquarelli Cubani” composed by the genius Luciano Fancelli. Acquarelli Italiani is a similar operation but based on the rhythm of “tarantella”. The arrangement is quite difficult (also contains a transcribed improvisation) and is often used in international competitions and concerts by the brilliant repertoire. RECENTLY UPDATED: This arrangement now has an accordion orchestra version included.
