The Higher You Go, The Harder It Gets
The first two lessons were relatively easy. The third level is definitely more difficult and I’ve had to slow down to really master these pieces. Although, I finished reviewing all the videos, I’m still working at some of the pieces to try to fully master them before moving on. In my opinion, Patricia and her staff do an excellent job teaching as they not only go over each piece slowly and methodically so a new student can understand, but also demonstrate how it should sound, so there’s no question as to what fingering, what chords and bellows to use. It also forces you to learn how to read the music. It all boils down to practice, practice, practice. Very well done.
Many topics to which I have not previously been exposed. I need a lot more practice but overall very good.
Review Level 3
What a big difference in the comprehensive information presented in this level. I have a clear understanding of what is expected for me to focus on to learn the more advanced music to play. At the same time, I have to say this course, in its entirety, covers a lot of information, most of which is new for me. I believe I will benefit by reviewing several sections. Kudos to Patricia for the quality instruction and I am thankful to be able to be exposed to many more aspects of learning the accordion. I would recommend this program to anyone interested in learning the Accordion or interested in sharpening their skills.
