Yev encouraged me to post these pictures of life in Revestoke Canada, that is what we were waking up to for the last five weeks. Iast month we had 240cm about 8feet of snow, this month it will be most likely doubled when the figures come out on average we get between 16-21 feet a year. Last week I was up on the last roof had to take a break from shovelling for a moment a snow flake fell in my hand, I thought for a moment there could be a poem written about this little snow flake.I loved you when i was young now just about 40 years later I got other words to describe them, the other day at work of course I am the lead mechanic for the federal highway system across the Rogers pass. Well anyways what I was going to say I was out on the road coming back from fixing a truck, the other day my radio went off r61 were are you Hemit pit, Dave says stop are you stopped Rob!!!!!!! yes bbbooommmbb Rob r61 what is in front of you give me a minute I have been dusted…. ok Dave about 10 meters on the highway in front of me. Rob you will have to stay put your trapped behind to, a quarter of a mile back, thanks a lot. At the end of the day I looked at Dave my little brain can’t handle that He said you did good. That is why the piano accordion is so priceless to me I escape to it ‘s world it’s music and it’s creativity, every once in awhile I cry to my wife why has it taken me so long to find it again she says stop you know why, it is priceless to me too. I am not a social person thanks Yev for asking me to share this. IMG_1748IMG_0850IMG_0865IMG_1742
Thanks for sharing those photos! Your level of snow makes my 3 ft (1 meter, I think) look like nothing! I too enjoy escaping into my accordion. It is such a beautiful sound and so full of joy and hope. Dale
Thanks for sharing Rob. Also, wow that’s a lot of snow!!!
Wow! Gives Winter Wonder Land a new meaning –
